Alparslan: The Great Seljuk Episode.1

On the day that the Seljuk sultan Tugrul Bey will name his heir, he receives news that the Byzantines have put the Turkmen to the sword. Order a shipment to Anatolia. Mysterious assassins attack the Seljuk Meliks on their expedition. Traces of the attack lead Alparslan (Barış Arduç) to a place he never expected.
While Alparslan pursues the assassins, he saves the life of the Turkmen girl Akça, who escaped Byzantine persecution. This is the first spark of the epic love between Alparslan (Barış Arduç) and Akça (Fahriye Evcen). However, Alparslan is unaware of the secrets Akça hides behind her beauty. The Byzantine emperor sends General Dukas and the Romanian captain Diogenes to Ani to settle the problems with the Turkmen. However, the mistake made by Yannis, son of Ani Tekfuru Kekavmenos, makes Sultan Tuğrul decide to wage war. Alparslan, who was given the good news of the conquests in his dreams as a child, comes face to face with Byzantium at Pasinler with the Seljuk army. Pasinler will be the first step for Alparslan in his blessed journey to open the gates of Anatolia to the Turks.
